We offer General English classes at all levels; we use a Communicative Approach to our lessons, which means that students should be actively involved and are encouraged to join in as much as possible, in English of course.

General English is perhaps the most flexible way of learning the language; there is something for everyone. Whether you want to improve your English for business purposes, to help with your education, or simply so that you can use it when you are travelling, you will find something for you. All of our classes cover every aspect of the English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, as well as grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.

Our teachers prepare a course plan which means that you will have a variety of skills each week and no two weeks will be the same. The course plan is specifically designed to cater for a rolling enrolment, so that you can start school at any time.

How long can I study for?

You can start at any time and stay for as long as you want; we have some students who stay for 1 week and some who stay for 1 year!

As long as you have the right to be in the UK, the length of your course depends on how much time you have, how much money you want to spend, and how much improvement you want to make in your English.

If you look at our prices, you'll see that we offer significant reductions the longer you stay, so you might decide to stay for an extra few weeks to get a discount.

If you would like to have an official ESOL qualification, then you should consider an Exam Preparation course. Depending on your level, and your length of stay, we would normally recommend General English classes to reach the level required, followed by an Exam Preparation course to prepare for the exam.
