Our Town

Bournemouth is one of the most famous places in England and its popularity has grown hugely. It is a great place to study and the town has something for everyone; 7 miles of beaches, a lively centre for shopping and culture as well as the fantastic nightlife in the many bars, pubs and clubs!

The Surrounding Area

If Bournemouth is not enough for you, then don't worry! There's plenty more to see and do in the local area! Perhaps you'd like to visit the historic cities of Bath, Oxford, and Winchester or how about a trip to Stonehenge? Southampton and Swanage are also within easy reach.

You might also be interested in Poole - a sea port boasting the second-largest natural harbour in the world; Christchurch - a beautiful village with a wonderful priory, mill and beautiful river walks; Salisbury - a city whose cathedral has the highest spire in England... the list is endless.

We're also not far from London - the capital can be reached in less than two hours. Why not spend a day exploring the famous sights, such as Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and Big Ben?

Whether you're interested in history, relaxing, shopping or entertainment, there's plenty to see and do in and around Bournemouth.

Why not try Badbury Rings or Stonehenge for some ancient history? Hengistbury Head and Brownsea Island are beautiful for walking and nature.

If you fancy spending some money, Castlepoint and West Quay have all the modern shops you could ask for whereas Christchurch is a quiet village with some old antique shops - the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs.

Finally, for entertainment, Bournemouth has lots of pubs, clubs, cinemas and theatres but you might also want to go further afield and head for the Tank Museum, Beaulieu, or Monkey World.
