Our School

We have 7 classrooms and a maximum of 12 students in any class. Each classroom is equipped with a whiteboard, tables and chairs for you to work on, and a CD player and cassette recorder.

Every classroom has its own unique colour and they are all decorated with English language posters and maps.

Of course, English is the only language spoken in the classrooms - you can only learn English if you are constantly using it and we do not allow any other language to be used even in classes where all the students may have the same mother tongue.

Teachers
Our teachers are all native speakers and have been chosen not only for their qualifications but also for their enthusiasm, rapport with their students and an ability to make language learning fun.

With this as our goal, we try to create a feeling of "family" at school; a place where students are not worried about asking questions and feel comfortable enough to use their English on a daily basis.

The teachers you can see to the right have all worked with us for a long time; we believe this loyalty and consistency speaks highly of the atmosphere within our school and also the high standards we seek to achieve.

Facilities
Apart from the classrooms, we have a library that students can use either to study quietly or to borrow books from. There is no cost for using the library and we recommend that you use the self-study facilities to improve your listening.

The coffee room is a large, open area that our students use to relax in their free time. The coffee room has a table tennis table and some board games if you fancy a challenge. There are also 12 internet-ready computers that you can use either for personal or academic use and the school has free wi-fi access for all students.

Although we don't have a canteen, we do have machines from which you can buy hot or cold drinks and some snacks. The town centre is only a 2-minute walk away so you can easily walk into town to buy something for lunch if you want to.
